If you want his old sh*t, buy his old albums...
Hov is back with his 11th studio album. It's called The Blueprint 3, but I consider it The Middle Finger Album. The theme to me of this album, is him proving that he still has it and shutting down the haters. Yes he's older than many current rappers, but would you have stopped listening to Pac or Biggie if they're were still lyrically inclined at age 40? Come on. The beat are cool, although I like when Jay spits of old school samples, I'm just used to it, and the lyrics and metaphors are still strong. I'm mad it was pushed earlier cause it was leak, but I was on line nonetheless. Another class, should go triple...Thoughts?...
YYYUUUUUUUPPP!!! ...
So I was put on to Trey Songz earlier this summer and I'm glad I was. I'm a big R&B fan, and I've been disappointed with recent works of that genre. Usher and Chris Brown have been holding it down I guess, but even they have they're issues. Trey's music is good, fun, and a little different. His mixtape Anticipation is a little more crack than the album Ready, but it's still a solid CD with great songz, mostly about straight sex. What do you all think, future of R&B?...
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back...

New King of Pop?...
A little over a month has passed since the death of Michael Jackson and we already have a new "King Of Pop"--at least according to Kanye West.
“You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I’m willing to take that on." Kanye is quoted as saying.
"There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in Kanye West respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King,” he continued.
“First there was Elvis, then there was Michael, now in the 21st century its Kanye’s time to rule.
I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up where he left off and there’s nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop.”
Though Kanye has received an enormous amount of success since his 2004 mainstream debut, many argue his clout is not nearly as large as Michael Jackson's career span.
Is Kanye the new "King Of Pop?"...

Fabolous - Loso's Way is out today...
If you haven't already, you could go out and get Faboulous' new album, Loso's Way. Get it by any means because it is really that good. For the first time in about 3 years, and before that even longer, I am going to go out and buy the real CD. To me, it's his best album lyrically and production wise. There's a story, there are metaphors, good beats, etc. Try to find the DVD Loso's Way that comes with the CD in some places...

Your thoughts?...
OD Sprite Ad banned in Germany...
So my questions are: Was it banned cause the commercial was suggestive, or cause he was black?...
So how many of you think about Sprite, or anything else for that matter, while participating in sexual activity?...

Say it aint so...
July 07, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com just got wind of a VERY INTERESTING report. On Sunday night, Kanye West and Jay Z got into a screaming match backstage at London's Wireless festival in the UK.
According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's snitches, Kanye was scheduled to close the show and he wanted to bring Jay Z out with him. But our snitch claims that Jay wanted to close the show himself.
The two reportedly got into a "heated" screaming match which ended with Jay Z leaving the arena without performing.
You knew it was only a matter of time before those two egos clashed.
**Brothers fight all the time right? Nothing to be worried about...I think...**

Tribute music to Michael Jackson begins...
As an overall record, I really like it, melody, lyrics, etc. The artists are kind of a unlikely combo, but it worked out well...

If you want details of his death, click the link...

It's a sad day in music due to the death of Michael Jackson. His music for me was always something I could listen to at any time. I'll keep it brief today because his life and career speaks for itself. I hope, to the public, he is remembered for the good and not the bad. Share your thoughts...

Sweat it out...
Lately I've been going to the gym and realizing how many things about it annoy me. There are usually signs around the gym detailing "gym etiquette," but clearly people don't read them. If you go to the gym and so happen to read this, please adhere to them, it's for everyone's benefit...
That Guy's Top 5 Gym Rules:
1. SWEAT!!! Everyone sweats at the gym, it's kind of a given. However, everyone should only be feeling their OWN sweat on their individual body. If you're not going to carry a towel, go to the napkin dispenser and wipe your machine.
2. For guys: I know we're all men, we're all adult, and we have the same parts, but for those who are not so comfortable with it, please be discrete when changing. Especially the elderly men, we don't wanna see it. Towels were invented for a reason, use them!
3. Ladies, please look in the mirror before you enter the gym. We're not perfect, which is probably why we're at the gym, but don't flaunt your imperfections by wearing tight revealing clothes.
4. Showing off: Congratulations, you're fit, we all see it. Must you (male/female) flex after every exercise and even go to the mirror and take a picture with your camera phone.
5. I don't know if I should blame the people who go to the gym, or the people who work there. Either way, can we please put the weights in order where they belong after using them. I don't want to go across the room under a machine to find the a full pair of weights.

It's a funnel, it's a turkey baster, it's The Whiz...
I was watching the news the other night as usual and saw something interesting to say the least. Local news broadcasts usually include something fun and quirky for whatever reason. In one segment, they shed light on a new product called "The Whiz." No it's not the black version of Wizard of Oz; instead, it's a bright purple funnel looking device for women. Divert your eyes to the picture now. Basically, the cup shaped end is attached to the female's crotch area where they would do their business and let the tube direct its gravity. It's meant to be used in public toilets, outdoors, etc. to avoid the dirtiness of those areas. I guess men and women can both pee standing up now...

1...2...3...4...oh...that's it...
Recently, the President of the company I intern with graced us with his presence to speak to the interns. He was very cool and didn't seem like he made loads of money, which he does. After his speech, he opened the floor to questioning, and while an intern was in the middle of his sentence, the President randomly interrupted to commend how diverse the group of about over 200 interns were. I took a quick glance around the room and then smiled. I counted the "tanned" faces around the room quite easily. Every company likes to pride itself on its diversity and equal opportunity but, how does it end up like that? Out of over 200 interns, about 15 were black, and a few others were of an ethnicity other than white (I'm not positive what, so I don't want to offend), and less than half were female. For the workplace and schools alike, it got me thinking who's fault is it that? Are non white students not going after these positions? Did the decrease of hires because of the economy just so happen to filter out this way? Or do company's really take the best, and this was it? The figure of 20,000 applicants was thrown out there which made it even harder to believe who was sitting in the room. I'm personally not placing blame because I enjoy working for this company and really have no complaints. Just got me thinking on a larger scale. Why are there only certain students who take business classes, or art classes? Why do you see a certain group of people work here rather than there? Just something to think about...

Common errors:
Then vs than
You're vs your
Effect vs affect
They're vs their vs there
It's vs its
I understand that these are common mistakes, but mistakes are meant to be corrected. A lot of times spell check will not catch some of these errors, so it is up to you to proofread. To me, the worst is when people make these mistakes in text messages because some words are just not meant to be in text language and you can tell when it's not on purpose. Also, if read aloud, it's pretty easy to hear right from wrong. Am I being picky?...
